The group started in 1974 when Oman Trading Industrial and Engineering Organisation LLC (OTIEO) was established to supply quality food products to the Ministry of Defense. Since then the group has expanded and diversified into a number of areas - Defense supplies, Telecommunications, Security and Fire Fighting Systems, Automotive and related business, Insurance Services, Furniture and Furnishings, Travel and Tourism, Sports & Leisure, Photo lab and Restaurant business, supply of hi-tech equipment and services, General Trading and International Investment.
